Welcome to A BEAUTIFUL IMAGE BLOG!

Hi, people! My name is Abi, and I am an Oklahoma-based portrait and wedding photographer who loves to travel for shoots! If you are looking for some of my recent work, you are in the right place! My blog is where I post personal favorites from shoots, as well as chat about my life. Here you have the opportunity to see my current portfolio, with the added "benefit" of learning a little more about me. ;) If you like something you see, please feel free to add a comment! I really do love getting comments and appreciate any feedback on my work/ramblings!

eyes in the back of my head

Sometimes I think that photographers are put in the same category as moms, in that they need or are expected to have eyes in the back of their head. :) It is so nice when a couple chooses to have a second photographer for their wedding day! After all, we really can only be in one place at a time. :) I know that I personally love having the opportunity to second-shoot for my awesome photographer friends! As I have mentioned before, I feel that it gives me the opportunity to play a bit and exercise my creativity. I second-shot Katherine & Mitchell's wedding a few weeks ago with the always fab Kriea.

I started out with the guys as they were getting ready...

Then we headed outside for some portraits. You can't tell, but directly on the other side of this brick wall was a homeless person. Mitchell and I didn't see him until we walked around to go inside.

With three of the groomsmen being the brothers of the groom, and the rest obviously sharing a great connection, they were a very cool group of young guys to work with!

Katherine & Mitchell chose to see each other before the ceremony in order to allow a lot of time for portraits...

While Kriea took the couple outside for some portraits, the girls peeked out from their dressing room...

Immediately after the ceremony, I rushed over the reception venue to get some detail shots. Check Kriea's blog for links to the wonderful vendors!

Kriea, Katherine&Mitchell~
Thank you for having me be a part of this special day! I really enjoyed all the personal touches at this wedding! It was a fun day, and I enjoyed getting to be the eyes in the back of Kriea's head, haha! :)

Okay the picture with all the guys jumping in the air has got to be one of the best I have ever seen! Great job on that one. These are all great.

So as usual these all rock, but I'm dying to know how you did the two that almost look silver instead of black and white...Are you going to share your secret with me?
